Play.sport 1st Anniversary Celebration

22nd March, 3.40pm

Today Fergusson Intermediate hosted the Play.sport 1st Anniversary Celebration. We had a number of distinguished guests including Prime Minister Bill English, Sport and Recreation Minister Jonathan Coleman, Sports NZ Chairman Sir Paul Collins, CEO Peter Miskimmin and Silver Ferns Katrina Grant and Phoenix Karaka.  a Grant and Phoenix Karaka.

The Board, at their most recent meeting on 1 March, went through their annual process of electing the Board Chair. Rhys West indicated that due to work commitments he would prefer to stand down from this role, and accordingly nominations were called for.   • WE WANT YOU!!!! Rugby @ Fergusson 2017

     

    The Trophy Cabinet is full and we want to keep it that way!  We are looking for our rugby stars!  We will be trialling boys at lunchtime on Monday for the Y7 and Y8 7s Teams and spots in our Rugby Academy for Term 2.  We will trial girls lunchtime on Tuesday.  So if you play rugby on Saturdays or you don’t and want to give it a crack! Bring a full change of clothes, mouth guard, boots etc and we will see you there!

    RISE up to the CHALLENGE!

    Ms Marshall has NO where near 60 notices returned for the important parent meeting next week. Please return them to me, even if your parents are not attending. It is preferred that they do.

    Ms Marshall would also like to meet with all netball girls in the hall at morning tea time. DO NOT be late!
